I was really happy to be a part of the trial as a witness. He only got life because it's nearly impossible for the death sentence if there is no body. It's scary though. It's sadly something that will stick with me my whole life.

The asshole my wife helped put away is Anthony B. Mertz. There is a FindLaw article giving details on the case, but I would rather not hyperlink it as the details given by my wife are very detailed.
