hi guys here is a very long overdue update from me.and a very big thankyou to everyone who left me such lovely comments regarding my little sister.
i really was in a real state of shock when i wrote my last journal,but thankgod things are starting to get better now.i still cannot believe what happened,because you never really expect bad things to happen to someone you love so much.
my little sis had her tumor removed 5 weeks ago now.it was an aucostic neroma,and 3.5cms,which is classed as a massive brain tumor.thank god it was benign,but it took 10 1/2 hours to take out,which is fucking massive surgery to say the least.they had to leave a tiny bit in,to save carlies face from dropping completely,and they will re acess in a years time to see what they will do about it.
she has been such a brave girl,but is suffering at the moment,as due to the op she has no hearing in one ear,and one side of her face is frozen,so her eye wont close,and she cant smile on one side of her mouth.
they are hopeful in time some movement will come back,but she is so down about it,and does;nt want to go out in public until it goes back.she is also recovering from bacterial meningitis,due to the op,which ment yet another spell on the neuro ward,which really pissed her off.
all in all she has been so lucky,because if the tumor had;nt been removed it would have caused her organs to close down and she would have died.
i really cannot put into words how this has broken my heart,to see someone of 21 go through such a hard time,and have so much to deal with,i love my sister more than anything in the world,she is so beautiful inside and out,and i am so,so proud of her for getting through something like this.
i would like to add in other news.....but i havent really got any donz gossip as such to date!give me a little while,once things get back to normal hopefully i will have loads to tell you guys!
