wow i havent posted in a while, but here we go...capoeira is becoming such an important part of my life i didnt see it coming. i play 3x a week with my class and 2-3x with my brotha, its insane, in just 5 weeks i've learned songs in portuguese, and arsenal of new kicks, and coolass moves i love my team they are great people its really like a family then a team, we hangout and actually care about one another and their lives. i cant get it out of my head no matter what, E capoeira (cap-o-Ea). But here's the dopest news of all. Im going to brazil in nov. for 12 days what?what? the home of capoeira, i'm going to a "batizado" meaning baptism you see in other martial arts you get a white belt and you pay and you in even if you dont show up, but in capoeira you need to be there as much as humanly possible. you got to be dedicated and want it. and after youve proven yourself you get baptisted into capoeira. Im the biggest guy on the team at 260lbs but i work real hard not because i want to be better then them but because i love it!!! in brazil im going to play with mestres masters who will kick my ass into obilivion, and 300 other students from that school alone and capoeiristas from sweden, canada, switzerland, africa, england, italy, and more, and since we are the only one's reprsenting america in that school i gotta be sharp and work hard i cant wait, but were staying with friends down there my teachers old teacher and food too so i need about 15-17 hundred dollars, well 1000 by aug1 to get my plane ticket and money to live and shop and party down there. its the trip of a lifetime i wont be a tourist down there nice. and my bestfrined is coming too hell yeah...6 months from now...i got a jod cooking at chilis i know it aint 5 stars but it pays well and i need money badly really badly so...all i need now is a car and license
