selfish as this may sound:

i found out my dad isn't doing too well today, and it made me extremely happy.

here's the background story. 12 years ago my dad started dating this ladie leslie. 9 years ago, they had my little sister katie. 4 years ago, leslie and my dad broke up. last october she came back, and started living with my dad and i again. up until aroud december, leslie and i got along great, even when she and my dad had split. then all of a sudden things got bad and she couldn't stand me anymore. typical stepmom story, but really, there was nothing for her not to stand, i picked up after myself, and was barely around. anyway, at the beginning of may, she finally had enough of my dad refusing to kick me out, and she told him that either i left, or she did. so my dad kicked me out, and i haven't talked to him since.

here's what i found out today:
1. leslie is leaving my dad. (again)
2. they got married several months back, and i never knew about it. they went to vegas and got married there.
3. she's taking him to court for half of the house (even though he bought it while they weren't even together, and she never made any sort of payments on it) HAHA
4. she's trying to get full custody of katie.
5. my dad has nobody now. not even my brother. my brother doesn't really talk to him either. they're on speaking terms, but barely. (but cody is how i found all of this out.)



i don't know. maybe i'm an asshole..but there's nothing like someone else's misery, to make me feel better.
