So I'm 6'2" 345lbs I like to think I'm a good looking guy and I'm happy with myself. Being a man if I were to not want to date a woman because of her physical appearance I'd be labeled as shallow or be called an ass hole etc etc.

Women on the other hand regardless of body type or physical appearance constantly put down fluffy...

According to the CDC, I am "obese," but I don't consider myself huge. More... plump lol. But I agree, on Tinder, on Plenty of Fish, hell, any dating site, I see so many female profiles with a specific body type. I'm on both sides of this. It's one thing to be shallow, but it's acceptable to want someone who fits with your (her) lifestyle. If she's a jogger, a biker, or a gym-rat, I can understand her wanting someone that shares the same hobbies. On the contrary, I do find more males to be judgmental when it comes to a woman's body type. But there are those of us who find beauty in many more places.

I love how you're saying this about "social pressure" regards to appearance. I could talk about this forever because it goes both ways for both men and women. Society and media constantly throw bombs at us saying that we need to have certain high, certain hair color, certain shape and size to me considered beautiful and to me accepted by society and the opposite sex. I saw this thing the other, it's a "new label" (can't remember the exact name) but it's a label that basically stands for people who date the opposite of what they are, so large girl slim boy or slim girl large boy, but this label is more focused on slim boys dating larger girls. The hate these couple receive is crazy! Most people say that those guys are probably with those girls out of pity or low self esteem. I don't understand how people can say that?! Anyway it's a real struggle for both ends and it's really sad how society and media do things because no matter the size or appearance we are all humans and should be loved and respected for who we are and not because of how we look like.

For almost 3 years after chemo and radiation my mother has been cancer free until July of this year. My mother...

Thank you.  She is still getting treatments but it's been very rough on her. They recently found out the cancer is stage 4. We find out this week if the treatments are working or not.

SG reminds me every day how amazingly beautiful the female body is and the fact that each woman here is unique in her own way and that is what makes you all who you are.

Haven't posted anything in what feels like forever. Started a new job with long hours selling cars so that's taken all of my time (and a bit of my soul...) wish I could make a full time paying job out of sculpting small figures...... my art should be my life but it isn't and it makes me a little sad....
