I have a social life!
For the longest time, I have been socially avoidant. Why? Chalk it up to high school. Hell, chalk up 99% of my problems to high school. I was one of those kids that was always being picked on. This caused me to avoid social situations because they were ainful to me. Well, I've finally come out of my shell.
I went bowling on Thursday night. Actually, I only bowled two frames for someone else. The rest of the night was spent watching other people bowling and dancing. It was fun. A month ago, there was no way I would ever do over hald of what I did at the bowling alley. My neck is sore from headbanging (not that I have the hair for it), and my arms are sore from dancing with my glowsticks.
Today was much more relaxed. I gave my phone number to a couple of my friends, and I went to Barnes and Noble to hang out with Amber, who was experinecing some stress and needed to get out of the house. We discussed Feng Shui-ing our side of the student centre (even though Feng Shui is a load of crap). We decided that it was impossible without major redecorating. We also discussed starting a Rock Valley College chapter of Sinn Fein (so we could go to Ireland on the college's dime), city politics, and Illinois politics. We also discussed Ann Coulter. I am of the opinion that Ann Coulter is hilarious and very misunderstood. A lot of peole take her polemics literally and seriously, when in fact she is using hyperbole and humour to make a point. But that's just me.
Anyhow, after that we went to another guy's house to watch movies, but ended up picking up his brother and his brother's fiend from the local megaplex theatre. Then we went to IHOP, but realized that their "house rules" were too draconian, so we went to Steak and Shake instead.
I don't know what I am going to do tomorrow, and I kind of like that feeling... I do need to call Amy tomorrow and talk to her, because she wanted me to call at three and I fell asleep as soon as I got home.

We were just there yesterday looking for some grass.
Going to the block party?
