I still feel like shit. I spent all day either sleeping or playing Morrowind. That game is fucking addictive.
Anyhow, I'm going to watch Adult Swim. Useless trivia time! In last night's episode of Futurama ("Mother's Day"), Mom's sons say that her rustic cabin is located in the Bronx. However, when they bust out the map, the cabin is actually on Long Island, and it looks to be just to the east of Queens. I used to work as a customer service rep for an energy company servicing New York City and Westchester County (which is just north of the Bronx), so I know that the Bronx is the only borough that is on the mainland. Manhattan is its own island, as is Staten Island. Brooklyn is on the western end of Long Island, and Queens is just to the west of that.
So back to me feeling like shit... I've got a raw nose (from blowing it so many times), and a horrible sinus headache. My throat is sore, and I can't stop sneezing and coughing. My joints ache like hell. I demand pity! And money. And the head of Ingrid Newkirk on a silver platter.
Random thought time: When SG says that they will take care of yor picture for you, when you first upload it, they don't tell you that they will stretxh and scale your image to fit. I had to use The GIMP to scale my image down, and then expand the canvas size and add the black background to the rest of my image, so that it wouldn't be stretched to fit.
If you are unfamiliar with the GIMP, I suggest that you click on the link and give it a download. It's a kickass image manipulation tool, and it's free. It can take some time getting used to, especially if you are used to Photoshop (like I am), but I think that it is better than Photoshop. Now if only they would come out with an open source nonlinear video editor that is as good as Premiere... I don't like trying to make money off of a pirated copy of Premiere Pro.
