ahahahahhhhhaaa... that's exactly that same thing that happened to architectonic and I when we were kitting out our flat this summer. IKEA totally doesn't know how to order the right amounts of stuff (our book shelf came in 2 parts and wouldn't you know it but they sold out of the vertical/rack parts but still had... i dunno, like 300 of the shelves? WTF are we supposed to do with shelves that have no way to hold themselves up?

Sorry to hear about your grandad. Sounds like he had a good time during his spell here tho, which makes it easier to celebrate his life.
