I just went for two days without the internet.
And there was an earthquake.
Those two things aren't related, I'm just illustrating how dramatic the weekend was.
So, ever since I moved to Arizona one of my best friends, Margaret, has been bugging me about how the two of us need to get together since we both live out west. She's originally from St. Louis. Now that I am actually in California, she's been amping up her efforts. She invited me up to visit this weekend, and I thought hell, I don't have anything else going on, why not?
As I am making my plans to go up and see her, I realize something. This weekend is SG prom. In San Francisco. Margaret lives in San Francisco. So I said "hey, do you want to go to a zombie prom?" And she said "HELL YES!!"
I had wanted to go back before I moved out, but with the hustle and bustle of moving I had kind of forgotten about it. So, yay for prom!
I went out on an epic adventure with Lia to find an outfit today. We went to this huge thrift store St. something or another's. I was too awe struck with the size to remember the name. They had a bunch of factory rejects and Lia found a pair of leather pants that sit down at the hips and fit her perfectly, fully lined and everything. Very sexy. I got a pair of these extremely soft brown cords that also fit perfectly, which is surprising because we couldn't try them on in the store. I found a pretty amazing dress. It's completely hand made, probably from the '70s, and it fits like a glove. As if it were originally made for someone with the exact same proportions I have. I'm not exactly sure how to make it fit with the zombie theme yet, but I love it. Oh so much.
And
I had my first celeb siting since moving to LA! And it was someone from my favorite show.
This guy was doing some shopping of his own-
