As a DJ having one theme song is a hard choice...I listen to all sorts of music - whatever suits my mood at that point in time. When i'm getting myself in the zone for a shoot or a gig I like to listen to high energy stuff like Die Antwoord (seeing @tribe 's set Baby's On Fire was great - go check it out!) or other more atmospheric stuff like Faithless and Fat Freddy's Drop - reggae and dub always chill me out.
I also love M.I.A's music - i got to see her live last year and the theatrics of it were great. Perhaps though the genre of music that gets me most pumped and confident is hip hop - I love Run the Jewels and Prof - a rapper from Michigan - tongue in cheek and self aware.
When I'm more thoughtful I like Running Up that Hill by Kate Bush and Elusive by Scott Matthews.
Of course I also have songs that remind me of particular people - i will always associate Hard to Handle by Otis Reading with me and by Boyfriend's first date :)
Not so much one theme song but songs that evoke a mood or a memory and that for me is the power of music - it's ability to speak to people wherever they are and to be interpreted in a multitude of ways.
