"passed out ass-backwards on a chair" is funny....hee hee...it almost makes me forget the fact that there's like 3cm of water leaking from the ceiling in our back room;.waiting for the landlord to call back...grr.

And YOU went to McD's? Hehe, but it's okay since you stole something :p

Bringin' the system down from the inside, hmm? ooo aaa

Where'd you smoke the shisha?

Thursday -
Emily's house to "study" for exam. Little gets done and we're both scared for the exam but too afraid to admit it.

Friday -
Exam cancelled, Emily and I go out to this fucking AMAZING vegetarian buffet. Now buffets generally have a pretty shitty stigma about them, but this was ridiculous in both price and deliciousness.
Friday night proceeds with pre-drinking and brown-bagging...

Soo...i remember you all stressed a few short days ago..did you get that project proposal thing put together? And how come the exam got cancelled (is it rescheduled till later?). How lucky is that :-)

And where is this buffet...come on missy, spill the beans :p

Glad you had a couple of great days overall....Hehe there are some cool mystery spots like that in the old port area...old montreal in general. Nalgene bottles of wine and boys, hehe, somehow you always start out swamped with work and manage to fit in a good time somehow..yay :-)

p.s. Iceland would be awesome too...but what's so evil abotu the czech republic? I'd likle to go there as well. Lots of interesting history and old buildings.

In other news I think I learned something today; that there are two types of people in the world: those who may naturally rule the world, and those who need a manual.
tantalus:
yeah, i think that natural rulers skips a generation
rikkitikitavi:
More frightening are those who think they rule, but really need a manual.

Like me!

Well the brownies turned out great, and I am officially the best sister ever. A dozen went in the mail today; unfortunately they'll arrive after his birthday but all I care about is them getting there unsearched, but I think it'll be okay.

Three of my closest friends are arriving on Friday from Thunder bay!!! I can't wait..but my house is going to be packed,...

Hey you
its been a while, hope you've had fun with your houseguests....There's a new batch of beer and a new jar of pickled eggs around if you ever want to stop by..
havilah:
Kids do kinda freak me out.
Most of my high school friends married high school sweethearts a year or two after graduation, so I'm only 26 with friends who have been married 7 or more years and they have kids in school! This freaks me out.

I Love Neon was pretty good, but I'll admit I was expecting a little more (it's kind of hard to compare a 10 000 person rave to last night). But MSTRKRFT headlined and all in all it was pretty good. In a couple weeks it's the 8th anniversary...uh oh.

Nothing much else to update on except that I'm going to attempt to make pot butter...

Tuesday:

Setting: CLSC clinic, waiting room, approximately 9:30am

A 40-something year old man walks in, clutching his hand, bandage wrapped around. He sits down and proceeds to unwrap the bloody bandage, toss that in the garbage, and groans in pain quite loudly.

Man groans again, yells, and conintues to make it known to everyone on the 3rd floor that it "hurts so much" and "oh...

cute cat! and where did that jam session take place? All my weekends used to look like that (and some weeknights as well) - minus the cat..until I discovered "responsability" . Le sigh. Maybe I'll go to the Barfly open mic next weekednd though. Lemme know bout soymilk making, also i could use that jar back, dont have many of those with proper lids.

Well finally, a change of scenery! Just got back from mountain ski-village Saint-Sauveur after a day of modelling. Yep, was asked to lay around in my undies all morning/day while I was sketched in several different poses. All in all it went really well and we were productive, followed by dinner at this cute little crepe restaurant...it was nice to get out of Montreal for...
