So we've scrapped news for the year and are tackling features...more profile, less newsy. I decided to profile my boss, who's an incredibly interesting character. Thus, I've been interviewing like mad and to my delight I've really loved it. Him and I sat down together for about 80 minutes ( I know this bcasue it was one minute short of filling up my entire disc)...then I got contacts in the city: friends, gym members, and then more family and friends back in Ont. Everything went great; was even invited out to someone's house for dinner!

It's just been a great learning experience...learning how to talk to people, practicing follow-up questions, improving my confidence...and if there's one thing I've learned, listening and research totally pay off. You get so much more out of people when you can tell them something they didn't expect you to know...

I got the email today...Looks like hte month of April will consist of the following:
-3 assignments
-1 paper
-2 exams
-2 staff parties
-2 jobs
-writing for May's newsletter
-editorship of the newsletter
-packing
-bowling, Big Lebowski style (gotta bust out the purple Jesus outfit!)
-moving the hell out of here
-my birthday? maybe?

I just want to go drinking in the bushes!
