Thursday -
Emily's house to "study" for exam. Little gets done and we're both scared for the exam but too afraid to admit it.
Friday -
Exam cancelled, Emily and I go out to this fucking AMAZING vegetarian buffet. Now buffets generally have a pretty shitty stigma about them, but this was ridiculous in both price and deliciousness.
Friday night proceeds with pre-drinking and brown-bagging it to the Tugnut show. 2 hours later I find myself wearing some punk dude's DK sweatshirt and it feels great to smell like boy again...The show was awesome.
Saturday -- I finally get back to my house after 2 days, Nic thought I was dead. Ditched dinner party...Proceeded to prepare for La Nuit Blanche and went out with neighbours to stroll around the city w/ nalgene of wine to explore the free exhibits. We end up in some crazy warehouse in the Old Port where this noise band is playing..and by band i mean a guy and a girl smashing their keyboards in no particular orderly fashion and screaming along. I spotted some mystery metal guy sipping from a flask outside who was so gorgeous I could have cried.
CRIED
Sadly I remain cowardice and he remains nameless...
Sunday -- 9 hours of work, but my hilarious co-worker was there to keep things awesome. I also got some long distance calls out of the way (for free AND while on work time). Got home and called/emailed more of those people I should have long ago.
Tomorrow -- I meet up with Shaughn and Adam; we're supposed to go over the layout of March's Voices for Burma issue. Shaughn's heading to Uganda soon so he needs Adam and I to take over the pagination of the newsletter for this month and other issues that follow. I'm pretty excited about this opportunity.

And where is this buffet...come on missy, spill the beans :p
Glad you had a couple of great days overall....Hehe there are some cool mystery spots like that in the old port area...old montreal in general. Nalgene bottles of wine and boys, hehe, somehow you always start out swamped with work and manage to fit in a good time somehow..yay :-)
p.s. Iceland would be awesome too...but what's so evil abotu the czech republic? I'd likle to go there as well. Lots of interesting history and old buildings.
