Well the brownies turned out great, and I am officially the best sister ever. A dozen went in the mail today; unfortunately they'll arrive after his birthday but all I care about is them getting there unsearched, but I think it'll be okay.
Three of my closest friends are arriving on Friday from Thunder bay!!! I can't wait..but my house is going to be packed, and Nic will go insane, and probalby so will I. Matt's only in for the night, K&M until the following Wednesday, which is the day Heather is also coming and she'll be staying with me until the Monday after that. Wow. So that's 4 people in a week and a half. What did I get myself into?!?!?
Hmmm what else...article in The Link today, was slightly rearranged and cropped a little but then again i did go over hte limit by 100 wds. All in all I'm pleased with it; I should be writing more -- speaking of which the March issue of Voices for Burma should be in the process of creation, but my editor is all over hte place (literally...lives half the time in Germany and is venturing off to Africa sometime soon) so I dont know where he is or what he's doing; just hoping he'll get back to me soon so I can figure out when these articles have to be in.
Oh man, and this one other dude who I write with in the newsletter totally looks and talks like Kip from Napoleon Dynamite. *sigh*, he's awesome...
That's all for now...oh, and TWO of my friends are getitng married now...It's crazy to see everyone grow up, meet people, and shape their lives. Personally marriage isn't really on my list of things to do in the near future since journalists don't get married, and if they do, it's to other journalists who can relate to the crazy lifestyle. Hmm. Well, I dunno, I'm really happy for them, and to hear the news. Maybe once the kids start coming then I'll freak out a little more...

its been a while, hope you've had fun with your houseguests....There's a new batch of beer and a new jar of pickled eggs around if you ever want to stop by..
Most of my high school friends married high school sweethearts a year or two after graduation, so I'm only 26 with friends who have been married 7 or more years and they have kids in school! This freaks me out.
