It's been a good couple of days. I have a new job to celebrate, great neighbours!, good grades (so good in fact I got an email from the registrar's office congratulating me and telling me to keep up the good work!), a half-way-completed International Exchange application, awesome dollar store purchases, free vegan lunch (when you volunteer to chop fruit on campus!!!), a new friend named Julia (who might I add, is WICKED; we're hitting up the next rave at SAT together...) and 15 bucks I dishonestly claimed (and quickly ran away with...yeah I'm a jerk -- but a poor jerk, so it's somewhat justifiable).

The staff party went awesome and my guacamole was a hit!! Afterwards we met up with some friends of mine and took my boss out to Foufounes Electrique, a punk/metal/rocker bar -- lots of sleeves, piercings, and boots. Anyway, my boss in his 40s, gay, and had no idea what to expect but was drunk enough to want to mosh -- so he did, and it was fucking awesome...

Auriel called today, he's finally back from Costa Rica. Wasn't too sure if he was going to call, but he has, and now I don't know what to do except for think of ways to covertly slip my way outta this one.

In other news, I met the man of my dreams, aka. the Medicins sans Frontieres/Amnesty International guy. One look at that man and I was practically throwing my donations at him...
