Man, I can't get over how good this rice is! There's a health-food store a few blocks from my place and I now shop there religiously. Theyve got all kinds of rice in these bulk bins and I've fallen in love with this short-grain organic brown rice. It just makes everything taste so much more delicious.
Today's menu: brown rice, sweet potatoes, and italian sausage. I grated some fresh nutmeg over the sweetpotatoes and wow, what a difference.
However, I'm slowly but surely trying to cut down on the meat, not only for ethical reasons or health issues, but ...it's just less expensive that way to be honest.
I think if I do have a little side meat it will be salmon...but then I think of all that mercury...

If you have a food processor, you can make AWESOMe mashed potatoes..Regular and sweet potatoes mixed together..Some brown sugar, a little butter, a little milk..some nutmeg. Mmm.
Cookie crumbs, that's funny . And yet, somehow, not surprising
