Come home from work, miss a call, Brodie's last night in town and I don't know where to find anybody!!!!
Alright...still procrastinating. Or is it that I just don't have time to do anything except for work and miss those beautiful days that I waste away behind a counter...
FINALLY got ahold of Mike Gasher, the Chair of Journalism. Funny, I called him a bunch and he was out of his office on vacation and so I was told he'd be back tomorrow. So I called back to leave him a voice message and he actually answered. I dindt even know what to say I was so surprised, completely prepared to talk to a machine here...but it was good, finally someone to help me out...Since I started applying to Concordia, that institution has done nothing but NOT help me, just direct me to other people who get annoyed and don't want to take the time to help someone out and transfer me to other people who don't answer their phones so I'm left without even knowing who I was going to talk to b/c I don't have their extention number (b/c I was transfered) and again, back and square one...very frusterating (I've actually cried twice ...)...Yeah they tell you to get academic advising to help you register for proper courses once you're admitted to the program, so you call and they say "you've been cleared for registration b/c really, we don't want to waste our time w/ you out of town kids, so you can start registering now...yeah , go find a computer and figure shit out a.k.a you can't see someone in person b/c you don't live here, stop calling us even though we told you to...
So here's to people I don't even know but already hate: Sandra Cochrane and every other receptionist I've talked to there.
I worked today, both places. It wasn't so bad, only 4 hours each with a half hour in between. The only terrible thing was that I was in a huge rush to leave my house, forgot to pick up my perscription, didn't bring food, didn't eat breakfast, and of course, forgot my wallet (which I planned to used to buy food along the way...). So after CD Plus I had 1/2 an hour to bike across town, go home, get my wallet, buy food, and make it to Red Earth (which basically would have been impossible). However, Heather was home and I stopped by her house on the way and she fed me so I dindt even have to bike as far OR spend money! - I guess it all, somehow, kinda, maybe, worked out...
