So I chatted w/ Emily today, and she's going to try to break her lease w/ her crazy landlord in September. I'm pretty sure we're moving in together and it's crazy how fast our friendship has developed: Last year I barely saw her, but with one of her last nights being a Killswitch Engage concert w/ me and a bottle of Jack...then it's a brief visit over X-mas, me staying w/ her for 2 weeks in Montreal, and now, all of a sudden - roomates?! Crazy...6 months ago I definitely would not have seen this coming...I hope everything goes well...she IS a crazy girl, which leads to crazy things. But she promised me that if I came to live down there she wouldn't take me to any more night clubs with cocaine grandmas (Parking!!!) and crazy-trendy people who don't know what cargo pants are! (definitely not an urban princess)...
Yep...I dunno. Still trying to have the whole "moving" factor settle into my brain. As every day goes by there's something else I notice about this place that I love...It's just the captivating summertime scenery mostly, and hell, I'll likely be back next summer so I guess I won't be missing out on much...except for the fact that if I DID stay here, I might've been able to buy a horse!!! (And I'm falling in love with Prince, he's the greatest horse ever, even when he's not). Sheila's selling a few, and if I wasn't leaving I'd be so tempted to buy one...not that I have that kind of cash, but hell I'd find it somehow!...I went on another lesson today and it was great...Sheila and I played follow-the-leader and I put Prince into a faster trot and did circles and wove in and out of tires and everything, it was awesome! I'm finding a real happiness and pleasure in riding horses...I don't want this to be something that I start but put down or quit; I love being out at Sheila's and have developed such an affinity for horses...This fall I was supposed to be in the horse show, but I guess that since I'll be gone I won't get a chance...
Afterwards Jayme came back from a ride and her, Ric, Prince and I went to the yard and basked in the sun. My wisom teeth come out this Friday so I tried to soak up as much horseness as I could before I go M.I.A for the weekend...
