Yesterday was fantastic - my one day off and the weather was gorgeous the entire day and evening - no flaws, nothing went wrong, everything fell perfectly into place. Day starts off with an early start, I rounded up Matt, Marlee, Katie, and Heather at my place and we took off to this crazy secluded waterfall out by Simeon's house...It was amazing: this little rushing waterfall running into a stream with a big pool of pristine water just begging you to run around in. Someone had built this sort of dock-surface over the stream right infront of the waterfall so you could lie down and feel the spray coming over you...The few of us engaged in some smoking, drinking, and the consuming of some delightful illegal magical things...I tried climbing up the side of the waterfall but when things started crumbling I knew that it'd probably be disasterous; so I went more down the base, just sitting there in the sunshine feeling the water spray on my back...Later on katie, marlee and I walked all the way back to Simeon's house to stock up on more wine...we were such summer girls: hot sun on our backs, loose hair, walking barefoot, raggety clothing, bottle of wine in hand, not a care in the world....it was the epitome of a perfect day for me with such a solid bunch of good friends. I'm going to miss not being here, and I still can't decide where I want to go...I don't know if I WANT to live in a big city...Kamloops might be more for me: smaller, more beautiful, quieter, secluded...Kelowna's nearby so I'm not too far away from anything...bah. But Montreal does have more to offer...I think the program is better with its reputation, I can learn French, live in a bilingual province, become more involved with what the city has to offer, feel more culturally immersed...if I do go to Montreal at least I can come back in the summer...
