Bah, nothing in the mail so far...I am le frusterated.
It's awesome outside, sunny, humid, warm...I work in T - 3 hours, so I have to think about something good to do...
This Wednesday is my day off!! First day off in 13 days!!! I'm really looking forward to it and hoping to do some climbing or swimming if it's super hot out...
I'm going for another riding lesson this Friday
...I talked to Jayme and hopefully we can find a good trail to ride on if we can avoid the bears...Brian bought this beautiful leather Cowgirl-style hat from Thailand and I want it so bad...it's 130 bucks, but I get a staff discount, though even then it might be way too pricey...in any case, it looks lovely and is perfect for riding. Can't wait to wear it out on the trails!
Brody is in town from firefighting. He was sent all the way to Alberta and got to play around in a helicopter for a few days AND found some rock climbers and went repelling with them...always some crazy traveling/adventure story from him...
Seth called me last week and it was awesome to hear from him. He was in Killarney and actually found another guy who was doing the same kind of expedition to Tuktoyuktuk, NWT but wants to get there by the end of this summer, which...probably won't happen! I'm really glad he's found some paddling company, it must get lonely out there. We chatted for a bit and I told him all was well with Miles and he's very very happy here. He'll be very busy when he stops by but hopefully I will get a chance to see him in passing through!
