Search and rescue found Brandon last Thursday in a 12 foot pool of water...now that everything's official I think it really hit home for the boys. I called my brother today and he seemed to be doing better but it takes a while to really, fully get better from something like that. There was a big obituary in the paper and it really got to me, and even though I only went to school with the guy it was sad not to feel is presence anymore...The visitation was today, my dad went and surprisingly it was open casket; the funeral is tomorrow...

On a lighter note, it's amazing how associated you can get with some people, so close that even though one moves away, their friends and family still stay in your life...I'll explain: so my ex moves away and BAM - I have Geoff call me to come hang out, and 2 days later G, Scott, Joe, and Isaac -- some of cory's closest friends -- come visit me at work - not even to buy stuff, but to basically hunt me down and try to drag me out to a shag...fair enough, they're really awesome and I'm glad they came by...So today, I'm at work, holdin' down the fort by myself, and I see this white truck comes up...I recognize it, but I never expected it to be who it was, yet I was right -- Cory's dad comes in to visit me! I missed him so much and was so excited that I ran over and gave him the biggest hug ever, and multiple hugs to follow...he's the best...and I miss him...
