So my weekend was a mix of good and pretty shitty...
Friday I had to work 9 1/2 hours, ended up staying for 10 1/2 becuase of Month-End paper work and faxing...yeah it was greeaaat. I got into a fight with my boss, I won't get into it but it basically ended up with him being incredibly defensive, yelling in the back room and me trying not to cry and failing miserably...
Saturday night I had fun though...I went to visit some girls I made friends with this year...they're wonderful. We drank, played cards and headed off to Jack's for this Rec'cer bash...I had an okay time, took forever to get a beer...Ran into Justin when I went for a walk to the bank and he invited me to the Apollo to join, but I never ended up going...Funny , we never talk when he comes to the store but perhaps that may change now. So I found Jess, or rather Jess found me at Jack's; his friend was there but never came around to say hi. Funny how people show their true colours after you think you know them...
So Miles will be mine soon! Seth leaves to embark on his canoe adventure this Saturday...so soon. I wish we could have gotten to know each other better. I'm glad I'll still be around when he comes by Thunder Bay in July. I've been showing off his website to friends and family -- I don't think I've been more impressed, proud of, and inspired by someone so much. Definitely attracted by all this, 10 fold...I hope everything works out for him and no matter what, he gets there safely...
Oh, and Mount Royal called AND wrote to me from Calgary...apparently I'm eligible for an interview to get into the journalism program there. Quite possibly a second acceptance! But more options means more decisions and I just wanted it to be simpler than that...I really REALLY would like to go to BC, not only because of the program but for the surroundings and friends nearby... but now perhaps Calgary , maybe Montreal...I'd live with Graeme as my roomate forsure if I moved there, so no worries about that...But yes. I don't know. I'll see what program is best that I get into I suppose...I'll have it all worked out by May...
