Came home today....shittiest flight ever. (Okay, I've had worse). Emily and I ended up hanging out with her Polish DJ friend Kryztzsoph (?) at his place and we had a really good time. Met his two roomates and their crazy squirrelly friend who was definitely cracked out on something on a regular basis. She suggested that Emily kill her cat since it dug up her plant. No no, don't get rid of it, just kill it - only option of course. She was funny...
I enjoyed Montreal a lot - except for the seemingly decent men who come over to chat and turn out to be damn near 40. Gahh! I've always been a fan of older guys, but this was certainly out of my league and more or less a simple bout of entertainment.
The big city-ness wasn't so terribly appealing to me, and got overwhelming at times. But I like the quiet residential areas, very beautiful. I think I'd like to come back in the summer time if I have some money, but that'll defintely not happen any time soon.
So on a scale of 3 - 7.5, I'd give my time in Montreal about a 6.
So I got home today and found some mail waiting for me. Apparently I've been accepted into this little university in Kamloops BC. I was pretty happy about it, but still hope to get some positive feedback from other universities for other options. Kamloops is pretty small, and although I like the small-town kind of life, I feel like it'd be moving back to Thunder Bay all over again! I know education is the priorty, and whatever is best is where I will go...At least some place accepted me, it means I'll probably be moving somewhere come August. But then, major dilemma/crisis: TOOL will be touring in North America in July/August, and I probably won't be able to see them if I'm in the midst of all this...which is a sin I tell you. It must be done.
Okay I've been up for nearly 48 hours straight. Must put an end to this madness!
