Work is going really well. I'm busy milling through my 100 hours of training. I never realized what such a lawsuit happy society we've become until I started the "Liability" Chapter of my training. I did have my first aprehension on Saturday. It was definitely a rush.
The thing that amazed me the most was that the girl was ready to go to jail for stealing a thong, a pair of superman undies, and two bottles of cologne. For over an hour, she flat out refused to tell the cop who she really was. We went through about 4 different names, 12 addresses, 3 social security numbers... finally the officer said he was willing to just take her to jail as a "Jane Doe" and let her sit there until she felt like telling us who she was. She finally gave us her real name and what did that turn up? She was already on Felony Probation. If she does an FTA for her court date (Failure to Appear) then she'll be going to jail for breaking probation.
The job is easier than I thought it would be. Even the sneakiest shoplifters still manage to do what they're gonna do RIGHT UNDER the cameras.
My cop is proud of me, too. I just have to do this kind of stuff until I graduate...then it's off to the police academy, then some patrol work, then hopefully the Dollbaby will be in a Federal Job somewhere being a bad ass bitch.
I managed to get the things with school straightened out. I thought the administration was going to force me out this semester but one professor cut me a SERIOUS break on two classes. I went from 18 hours down to six...because I had the flu and was out for 2 weeks and no one wanted to believe me. They want a dr's note, but I didn't go. A friend who's mom is a nurse got me some antibiotics because I don't have insurance. No doctor's note because...no doctor's visit. However, I should be getting back a couple thousand in tuition, since I dropped from being full time to part time. The good aspects of less school include : getting to see the sweet boyfriend for a little bit longer on some days, and getting to go to work earlier on other days. The downside is that I added yet ANOTHER damn semester until I graduate. That is the epitome of suck, because I really REALLY want to graduate sometime before I'm 30.
Let's see...what else? The man and I are trying to start eating healthier and working out a little bit. I have managed to find some yummy low fat, low cal recipes (with lots of meat...*rowr*) but I still don't have many. I'm looking for suggestions...this is where you all come in, SG Land homies...the way to my man's heart is part of the way through his stomach, so any good suggestions you have will help make me happy, too.
Oh, and for those of you who may have been curious about my battery operated device I bought while drunk the other weekend...we managed to figure out how to use it (vibrator virgins.. me AND my sweetie) and boy, did we have some fun with it.
My old boss threw me a going-away party the other night. I wasn't looking very forward to going, because the sweetie couldn't go, but my best friend is working there now, so she said she'd hang with me. Anyway, when I got there, no one was there but one of my supervisors and his wife. I really felt like the odd ball kid that has the birthday party that no one shows up to. But, about an hour later, like, 20 people showed up, even some that I didn't expect. And, my boss was extremely intoxicated, so NO ONE had a tab all night...well, except for him. I actually ended up having so much fun! It would've been better with the man there, of course, but I still had a great time. I made some really cool memories and formed some closer friendships. I think me and a couple of the girls are even going to start hanging out, which says a lot because usually girls and I have a mutual dislike for one another. Some of my bosses wives are the shit, though. If my supervisors would act even a fraction as cool as they did at my party, I might have considered staying longer!! But of course, according to my best friend, they're back to being ASSHOLES at work.
Oh, I got glasses, too. I will have to post a pic...I dunno though, some of you might want to stick me on that "girls with glasses" thread thing.
Movie Review: The Pacifier....very cute, actually. DIsney did a very good job at making VIn Diesel funny. The kids in the movie make the movie. It's worth seeing...like I said, it's cute.
Is anyone else obsessed with the TV show LOST? I am. It comes on again tomorrow. What do you think is going on on that island?
Still waiting for some workout music suggestions, too.
Love and hugs!!

There was this one time when I was in Kmart with my mom and I had went off to look at other stuff. I put my stuff that I wanted to steal in the place with no cameras and stopped to look at a already opened pack of baseball cards. At that moment a secret shopper thought I was stealing the cards and took me to my mom. After I explained that the pack was already opened, the security let me go. I then went back and stole what I was going to steal before we left the store. That was the closest I ever came to being caught.
It was a major rush when I was underage, but there is just too much to lose now.
