I am sick. Really, really sick. And, apparently, everyone in the entire state of TN is sick, too, because I can't get a doctor's appointment. I have an ear infection, and as a result, my equilibrium is all fucked up. It's no fun at all. My sweetie has been trying to take care of me, but it's really out of his hands, unless he has some kind of connection to a doctor's appointment that I don't. Bless his heart though, he's been rubbing my back and taking my temperature, and keeping me warm and all that good stuff. I just hope that I don't end up making him sick.
I went for my first day of training at the new job. It's going to totally kick ass. I think it's the perfect job for me. It's really right up my alley. They showed me a bunch of videos where they apprehended shoplifters and showing me how people actually smuggle out the merch. It completely shocks me how ballsy people are. Right under the cameras, shoving merchandise down their pants or up their skirts. I'm almost hoping that I get written out of work for a couple days with this sickness...I'll get fired from from my shitty old job and then get to start my cool new one full time that much sooner.
This weekend is my best friend's birthday party. She wants me, my cop, and one of his friends to go out on the town. The plans thus far are a sushi dinner, followed by a trip to the strip club, and ending with a visit to the adult bookstore. I'm looking kinda forward to it...haven't been to a good strip club OR had good sushi in a LONG time.
Since the computer is at my honey's house now, we've been trying to download music and burn it to cds. I read somewhere that if you have Napster, and download winamp and a certain plug-in, you can burn the songs from Napster without paying .99 cents a song. Got all that shit downloaded, and I still can't make it work. I have no clue how. We've got some awesome music downloaded, and I would love to get it burned...any suggestions?
