Did you ever have one of those days where you just feel all kinds of love for all kinds of things? That's what this day has been, so far.
I met my honey's entire family today. They all liked me. I was SO scared. His mother is Vietnamese, and she's very strict. Asian culture is much different than ours, and I was really nervous about making a good impression with her. Things went really well and he was very happy. We picked out an outfit that would cover the tattoos (I'm not ready to show them off to his whole family just yet), and I did my hair and makeup very understated and cute, and was personable and friendly, and he was very proud of me. He introduced me to everyone, and it made me so happy. His family reminds me a lot of my own.
Things are going so well with him, I can hardly stand it. I have yet to find fault. And honestly, I'm not even looking. Usually I'm hunting down all the things I hate and I have a list a mile long by now...but with him, it's different.
School is going famously, as well. My classes are still from my former major, so they're kind of miserable, but I feel much better knowing that next semester I can get back into the criminal justice stuff.
I'm sorry I've been such an icky SG friend. I will try harder! I love you guys!!
