I am:

I am a girlie girl, who likes shoes, purses, nail polish, hair dye, and make-up, though I'm most likely going to be wearing a t-shirt, jeans, and flip flops.

I am a woman, who knows what I want and isn't afraid to explicitly ask for it.

I am a crusader, fighting for what I feel in my heart are morally right and just, and for people who are deserving.

I am a girlfriend to someone I love more than anything else on the planet, and who loves and respects me equally.

I am thankful for everything I have been blessed with in my life, always grateful for what I have and working towards attaining what I don't.

I am a loyal, dedicated friend who always is there with a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen with, and advice.

I am a daughter, to a woman that I sometimes think is absolutely insane, but to whom I will turn to for advice and understanding on any subject under the sun.

I am a nerd, who reads textbooks for the fun of it, collects movie toys and comic books, and who takes pride in being a lifelong learner.

I am a hard worker, who will be 100% dedicated to any job I am set out to do, and who will not stop until it is finished.

I am a feminist who thinks that sometimes it is ok to want to do nothing more than to stay at home, cleaning and cooking, but who will fight for my rights and treatment with the best of them.

I am someone who has lived such a short time but has been through so much, making me sound far older than my years- an old soul.

I am outwardly confident, but inwardly a constant worrier. I am in no doubt of my intellect, friendliness, and charm, but I worry beyond belief that you will think I am not what I am anyway.

I am a thinker whose mind is constantly going, going, going, which makes for a lot of long, worry-filed, imaginative, sleepless nights. I want to figure out the world's problems and solutions before I eat my breakfast.

I am more authoritative and commanding then I normally let on- I am seemingly laid back...a follower instead of a leader, but don't let it fool you.

I am me, and you can take that for what it's worth.

In other news, I quit Target today. And then spent 3 hours on the phone with the Regional Human Resources Investigator and the District Asset Protection Manager, who both said that swift action would be taken within 48 hours. The District Manager said she was pretty confident that the boss was going to be terminated. Both of these women apologized profusely for my treatment and wished me the best of luck in future endeavors, totally understanding of why I left the company. At least I can rest easily knowing that what I set out to accomplish has been done, and the next person who rises into my position will not have to deal with what I and others have.

Now, you all need to cross your fingers that I get my old job back this week. Hope for karma to treat me well, ya'll. I need this job back.
