Here's something fucked up for you.
You all know how I've babbled on and on and on about Target and how I can move up up UP in their Asset Protection, and how once I finally start working there things will fall into place and my career path will finally be set?
4 weeks and about 10 broken promises (including the big deal promotion that caused me to go there in the first fucking place) later...what have I got to show? I'm still not certified to work on my own (in part to a bad sickness that had me in the ER over the weekend, and in part to the entire district's lack of planning in the process), my performance is still greatly doubted (because I'm not certified to perform!) AND (here's the big one)
I'm being sexually harassed by my boss.
Yea, that's right. Sexually harassed. Now, I'm not talking about a girl suddenly being involved in a guy's only office and the guys having to "clean up" their jokes/language/whatever...I'm talking the real deal. I'm a guy's girl...I can put up with "oh she's hot" or whatever. The things this guy (my boss) says about women is just disgusting. All the time it's ass and titties and "I'd like to do blah blah blah" and womanizing chauvinistic comments...and then, today, it was directed towards me. There was a book on a shelf I needed. He was sitting in front of said shelf. I asked for the book. He said "Go ahead and get it". Did he move over so I could reach it? No. I ended up having to lean over him and reach up (bird's eye view of my tits here guys) to get the damn book. I started to drop the book and turned a little, in time to see his eyes fixated on my boobs. Then, as I'm moving to look at him, he blatantly changes focus from my boobs to my ass. He makes me go through the same procedure to put it back on the shelf. A few minutes later, one of the guys needs the book...he graciously moves out of the way (so the guys don't have to lean over, touch, or even be near him) to get the book.
I know that written in blog form, this probably doesn't seem nearly as bad as it was....I wish I could get you a full idea of what it is working with this man. I don't like the way he talks to me, I don't like he way he looks at me, I don't like the way he acts towards me. It's degrading, it's frustrating, and I want it to stop. I just don't know what to do. He's the District bosses pet.
I've decided that I'm sticking with the job (because I need the money desperately to finish school.) If things continue (which I'm documenting) I will file suit. Maybe, I'll file suit anyway. Then, I'm going to school, I'm getting my bachelor's degree, and I'm going to law school. I want to be a prosecutor...a District Attorney...even an assistant D.A. would be fine. I always love the role they play in the court and I want to do that. I want to be in the position where I'm the one with the authority, where I'm respected for my decisions and my morals and my beliefs and my intellect.
And until then, any welcome suggestions on what I need to do are welcome.

As a man it pains me to say this, but you need to kick that jerk in the balls.

OK, Yeknomyknuf tagged me and said I had to list 20 things about myself and then pass on the favor to five other friends. So, I choose you Pikachu!
