I've let my subscription 'Run Dry' on here before, but I think this is the longest I've eveer been away. About 353 days!
Anyway, I'm back, and ready to rock and roll!
Loads has happened in my life since I was last here.
Back in April, my folks' doctors declared that they were in a bad way too much to continue living in a normal 2 floor house and things were put into motion to get them a bungalow. Annoyingly there isn't really enough room for me to stay there so have been living with Laura (and her folks) It was quite weird, we found out they had the place on the Wednesday and they had to be moved in by the Monday! Was a very emotional weekend, saying goodbye to the place I spent MOST of my life (Moved there when I was 5, and I'm now 26!)
I'm now a self employed web designer/digital artist/comedian/DJ. It's fun! When I first started out I was wondering how I would keep my head above the water in the brutal, cut throat world that is everything I do. That's why I decided to start DJing again, so at least when the other work is slow I have that money to rely on. I am only DJing on Friday Saturday and Sunday nights (totalling 14 hours) but from that alone I end up with more money than most of my friends in full time employent!
Over the last couple of weeks, the doctor has turned around to my mother and said that the reason she is so ill is because of the dog. I didn't want to lose the dog (despitebeing away from her for ages I still love her loads) so me, Laura and her mother have spent the last 2 weeks trying to persuade Laura's dad to let her live here. He finally caved in on Monday morning... She moved in on Tuesday!
I could keep going on and on for the rest of the day but you've probably got things to be getting on with, and I have a huge inbox of requests for me to do photoshop work for people.
It feels good to be back!
