Its been almost two years since I wrote a blog. Most of you probably think im dead
So im bringing you this special blog to tell you in fact that im not dead!
These past two years have changed me a lot. I feel like i've matured a lot and taken my life into a new and better direction.
To break down these two years in a manor that wont fry your brains ill break it down plain and simple.
First, I didn't deploy to afghanistan. I some how endes up going on the 31st MEU. We were Stationed in Okinawa Japan. Went to Australia, Brisbane to be more specific. Where I blew TWO THOUSAND dollars in a week. We also trained with their Army which was a cool expierence. Ended up having my thumb smashed in a steel door, had Surgery on it twice (One in Australia and another in Japan). The second time they ended sending me back to the states because they thought they would have to amputate my thumb! Thank god they didn't need too! Talk about stress.
But I think coming back early changed my life. My first weekend back I went to Nocturnal Wonderland (Rave for those that aren't the scene) where I met some of the most amazing people in my life. We all started a "Rave" family and try to do everything together when we can. Its just ever since then, I've had nothing but positive attitude towards life. No matter what gets thrown at me.
Got into a Art called Light Gloving. They're white stretchy gloves with micro lights on the finger tips with different combination of colors and modes. And you do finger rolls, tutting, stacking.. Its live art to the heart of music. Kinda like looking at something in a Art studio. I don't know why but they make me happy, its defiantly my anti everything when I just need me time.
So these past couple months. My battalion is doing another work up for Afghanistan. My platoon that was ahort on scouts is almost finally filled up. Still missing a driver and a scout. They made me a Saw Gunner today, so for seven months ill be patroling with a M249 Squad Automatic Weapon. Things are gonna be ruff and shit is gonna hit the fan. Taliban is most active during the summer and with that video of the Marines pissing on the dead Taliban bodies, Im sure they're pissed off and out for blood. I know I would be. And its weird, im not scared of what could happen to me over there. I've always wanted to be in the Infantry, how mqny people do you know that fulfil there dreams?
That pretty much sums it all up to this point. Saturday im gonna get my tattoo done. Pretty excited and Boom is too. Her set "mau5 trap" gave me my Pin Up idea, so I had a good artist down here draw up her photo to pinize it for me. Going to have it on my ribs. Probably going to hurt, but I have a thing for pain
Well I hope to talk to you guys again soon. Thanks for reading![smile](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/smile.0d0a8d99a741.gif)
