She's all elbows and bones. She's my new lady. She's Addie*.
Things we've been learning.
- Peeing and pooping outside deserves a cookie.
- "Sit" is glorious.
- "Come here" is easy.
- Things on the floor are for dogs. Furniture is the exception.
*As in Addie Bundren, the matriarch and corpse in Faulkner's As I Lay Dying. See, she's really, really skinny, and though she doesn't say much of anything everyone here is fully attuned to what we imagine are her needs.

Isn't it genius, I love so many Prince songs but I think that one is my all time favourite lyrically and Cyndi with her squeak just makes it perfect.
Bob just never gets dull for me.
