I am 22 years old. My knee is 65 years old. My options are wait 10 years and maybe something new will be out but a new knee right now is too dangerous. Oh yeah, no martial arts, no running, no jogging, no walking to far, no dancing... NO FUCKING DANCING!
I get to see a specialist in the field of opening wedges 2 days before I turn 23. An opening wedge is what I had done when I was 15 years old. The recovery was long and hard and my knee has not felt good since then.
I am absolutley crushed right now that my active life is over at 22. It took every single ounce of stubborn pride and machismo (of which you all know I have plenty of both) not to compleetly breakdown on the way back to the car. The wait for the elivator I couldnt hold back a couple stray tears.
Thats all I have for now.

Edit: I'll be at The Streets of London with a pitcher of booze till about 10ish if anyone is bored.

A man is more than his knees brother. Mine aren't so good either. Just keep on keeping on, and remember, pain is fleeting, glory, forever.
