Today may go down as one of the most bizarre days in my life. And that's saying something.

Late, late last night, completely out of the blue, I had a 5 hour-plus phone conversation that went well into the dawn with someone I thought I would never talk to again, and it may turn out to change the immediate direction of my life in a significant way. One of those situations where you literally have to pinch yourself to make sure you are actually lucid. It was like the senses-shattering season opener to the melodramatic cliffhanger of the last chapter of my ongoing autobiography. There were emotions brought into play that I had no idea still existed inside my mind. Fuck, I still can't wrap my head around what went down. But I'll tell you one thing; I woke up happy this morning.

Another thing-- I had another weird dream last night.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
I was on this cruise ship on the ocean, one of those huge city-scale floating monstrosities, except it had no walls on the outside, it was all open air, and the higher you went on the ship, the more upscale the surroundings were. For some reason, I had all this luggage with me, and I was trying to find my way around the lower levels, which were filled with Dickensonian urchins and street thugs squabbling with each other and gathered around trash can fires. I sat down on this round airport looking couch and tried to get my bearings, and this little asian kid sat down next to me and tried to be all sly about reaching into my bag and pickpocketing my big CD case with ALL my CD's inside it, but I noticed him doing it and so I jacked him in the face as hard as I could with my fist, and I swear I felt myself skin my knuckles in the process. But somehow my CD's still got stolen. The other problem I ran into was that the security force on this cruise ship was more corrupt than the Mexican police, and these HUGE bodybuilder security guys were piledriving hapless bystanders and throwing them into walls and laughing hysterically at their inflicted mayhem. I tried walking by them and the ringleader stops me and tells me I have to buy him drugs. I said something like, sorry man, I only buy drugs for myself, which made him laugh and say, wrong answer. Then all these security guys turned on me and since I was carrying all this luggage, I turned and ran as fast as I could, racing around corners and staircases, climbing upwards on the outer walls of the cruise ship, until I reached the rich people's section at the top. That's when I saw Gillian Anderson (you know, Scully from X-Files), looking incredibly hot in a low cut dress, and I ran up to her, all out of breath, and pleaded, Gillian, you have to help me, you have to go kill these guys or they will come up here and blow up the whole place. And then Gillian looked at me like I wasn't even there, and I got confused until I noticed I was talking to a television set, and the REAL Gillian Anderson had just walked up and was looking at me like I was a crazy person, which is what I felt like at that moment. And then I woke up. surreal

And just to top off this journal entry with more coincidental weirdness, I just found out that the gyrating girl whose torso appears in that new Aqua Teen Hunger Force commercial... turns out I sort of know that chick, she's a friend of a good friend of mine. Which is weird because I've tranced out on that commercial before wondering what the rest of her looks like, and now I know, and it really trips me out. If you're wondering, yes, she's just as hot as you would imagine she would be. smile

Numba one in the hood, G.
