***UPDATE TO THE UPDATE***
Got home from the Rider game! It was awesome! It was my first ever football game (hey, I'm not a big sports fan) and even though we got there after it was half over I enjoyed it.
I went with my friend Josh, his wife Laurel, and Laurel's dad, Ken (who so graciously provided the tickets).
Ken's a big Rider fan so he did enough cheering for all of us (I'm still not clear on the rules and I'm not all that big on cheering either)
The BEST part was when Ken accosted an annoying Edmonton fan who was standing up by the railing being a pisshead and trying to rile the Rider fans around him. THAT WAS GREAT!
(of course Laurel didn't think so)
I also bought Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for my Gamecube, so I'm off to play that as soon as I grab somthin for supper.

***END UPDATE***
Well I was going to write this long diatribe about how lousy I've been feeling lately about not having any goals and/or not wanting to accomplish any of the ones I had because they seemed stupid and pointless.
Then I realized that the main reason I've been in this funk is because I haven't done anything for a while and that's what happens when I neglect to flex my creative muscles for such a long time, I get depressed.
It seems that life has a strange way of getting in the way of things and I have to learn to push it all aside and make some time for ME.
So I've got to sit down and finish these projects I've started. I've got mini-comics to print, more to write & draw, a graphic novel to do, and a children's book to write. It's like there's a bottleneck in my brain with all these things just trying to get out. And I need to get them out so that maybe, just maybe, in a few years I can be a full time, comic creator/writer instead of busting my hump working for the man!
I've got the creative ability, I just need to quit fucking around and apply it.
...hard at work on the children's book.
"It's a kid's book. How hard can it be?"
