I just realized the silliest fear I have is... really silly. "If I move to Vancouver I won't have any friends! I'll be alone!"
Yeah, you know what? I don't have any friends here! None! I haven't had friends here for months! I've gotta drive three hours plus just to hang out with friends here that I don't really want to visit anyway (alright, minus Audio and PhillyTwwly).
So, yeah, fuck it. At least being in Vancouver means Dev shows whenever he leaves the house to do one.

I was looking through an old copy of Wizard I have kicking around and I feel like a dick for missing all the good comics I could have been reading back in the 90s. Sandman, Bone, Scudd, Milk & Cheese, Transmetropolitan, and all the Alan Moore and Frank Miller books. I was more interesting in collecting than reading. I didn't see the literary potential of comics, just the pretty pictures. When I stopped collecting, I just wasn't impressed with the industry anymore. Image churned out crap, Marvel churned out crap, Valiant had been bought by Akklaim, DC only had the bat books and gold foil covers made me want to kill.
Then I read Sandman in fall of 2000 and I started liking comics again.
