So the Spartan race was a blast i ran it with my friend jack and it was the first time she had ever run something like this and the farthest she had ever run EVER and she did great. The official run time for me was 2:45 to complete almost 9 miles and over 20 obstacles I also spent alot of time helping other ;people get over obstacles cause thats half the fun. The only thing that sucked is the day before the race i worked a 16 hour day and the day after i worked a 12 hour day.
So I took a week off of working out after the race but I am once again back at it harder than ever. I got a 10k coming up on december 4th or some shit and if i am really lucky it will be snowing. Running anywhere between 20-40 miles a week is fucking intense but it makes me fucking happy
Next year I am planning on running a spartan sprint (4 miles) a super spartan (8 mile same one i just ran) and the spartan beast (13 miles) I am officailly addicted and if anyone is running any of these let me know we can run it together maybe. Oh and i am probably going to do tough mudder.
