So here I sit, 0240 am in muggy Liberia, not able to sleep... Too much runnin around my little noggin I guess....

-I just wish I was a beach person... It's weird, cause I am a water baby. I remember when I was 4 or 5ish (whatever age you start taking baths by yourself), my Mom bought me a snorkel set and I would spend HOURS in the tub exploring the depths of my porcelain domain complete with my rubber ducky, GI Joes, Transformers, Go Bots and Submarine... I have been a SCUBA Diver since I was 14, and I am going to retire on a sailboat and sail round the world till I figure out where I want to be... That being said... I HATE THE DAMN BEACH!!!!!!!!
Sand is most likely the single most annoying substance on the face of the earth... It gets in every single crack and crevice, rubs ya raw... Ya find in in amazingly weird places when your cleaning you car out 13 months later... I hate everything the beach represents... <I lived in Miami, Key Largo, Jacksonville and Orlando FL... I think I spent maybe 7 hours total on the beach? I lived in FL for a total of 6 or 7 years? I guess it all goes back to me HATING being hot. I'm the guy that sleeps with the window cracked in the middle of winter with a foot of snow on the ground... If I blink my eyes too hard, I sweat...
- Why is it that whenever someone says "God bless him / her...." you're about to hear some really bad shit about someone... "God bless him, but he is the biggest piece of shit on the planet" Weird....
- Who decides America's Debt Rating? Apparently now that we are AA+ instead of AAA, "...the world is coming to an end and China can tell us when and how to repay our debt..." (quote from a friend of mine that's a reporter on DeutcheWelle TV in Berlin) Why am I not concerned? Is it bad that I really don't care?
- I wish I could be a woman for a day and experience the wonderful exquisite bliss of the female orgasm....
- Who chose Red for Stop and Green for Go? I think I'd prefer Black for Stop and Blue for Go... But that's just me.
- Apparently Jason Segel is my celebrity doppelganger? is that a good thing?
- I miss collecting and reading comic books.
- Cartoons are the coolest thing invented on the planet! Fuck sliced bread, I say "That's the coolest thing sice the Smurfs!" I find Ed Edd and Eddy enormously entertaining... I don't get the new Transformers cartoons though. I miss the 80's show.
- I love that I am finally to the point where working out feels AWESOME! I missed this....
- Sometimes I miss the Navy. It was some of the BEST times in my life. The time I spent working as a Medic with the Marines helped shape me into the man I am today. Honor, Courage, Commitment, Integrity...

- Whoever invented the Kindle needs to win a Nobel Prize... I love that damn thing... Like 1 pound, 3000 books and one month battery life. My time here in Africa would be horribly boring without it...
