Fall! It's a nice time of year. Leaves change colors, no more bazillion degree attics, Octoberfest beer, and Halloween. But do we still have to have the time change? Get out of work and it's dark out? Feh!

Here's one: Way back in my college days, I was sitting at a table in the student union studying and working on homework and not paying any attention to the people around me. This girl pops up by my table and asks if she can sit on the other side. I say go ahead, though slightly annoyed by the intrusion. I go back to whatever I was working on, she worked on something then left after about 10 minutes or so. There were other tables open, btw. To be honest, she may have lost needed to sort out something for class and that's all I thought about it until 3 months later I thought she may have been trying something else. Ah well.
People tell me I'm such a great guy, I'm handsome, blah blah blah. Yet when I do get over my nerves and say hello to someone, inevitably she will make this embarrassed half smile type face and take off. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, because I always am, but it's still unsettling.

When I started my subscription, I got a copy of SG magazine issue # 2. I really liked it, of course. Especially the scrapbook style. It reminded me of another book I've had for a few years, 'A Private View,' by Sante Dorazio. It's a collection of actors, actresses, musicians, and models in candid form. Some clothed, some not, but nicely done.
Four degrees out this morning. Hope I don't have to work outside today.
