oh, my gosh...my golden retriever (best dog in the world) Gretchen almost died last night!!!

Gretchen and our year old lab mix puppy Lola were romping around (like they always do) when I guess Lola bit at Gretchens collar and they some how became tangled uo together.

Gretchen's chain collar was wrapped aroun Lola's lower jaw..which made Gretchen's air supply cut off.

we were freaking out....Grechen was struggling to breathe..foam was pouring out of her mouth!

we called 911 but they said they don't carry bolt cutters...so my honey went running around our apartment complex to find some.

I had to sit there and try to calm Lola and watch Gretchen just keep fighting to take a breath.

It was HORRIBLE!!! tears just kepy pouring down my face I thought she was'nt going to make it.



Luckily one of our neighbors happened to have bolt cutters!!

but they were crappy ones

but they finally worked and both doggies are alive and well!!!!!!!!!!!



I don't know what I'd do if I lost my Gretchen!!!

well, that was my drama of last night.

I'm still a little freaked out.




oh, and the police did show up about 5 minutes after we saved them.
