Hoo boy it has been busy. I got a bunch of research done for my final project in Nazi History, I just have to meet the prof and ask him if he can hook me up with more primary sources about the T-4 projects.

I have started writing the other report that is due on wednesday for Nazi History, about Gellately's book on the Police...

Well I'll take some time out of my hectic schedule to update this thing.

I had my first meeting this evening for my May term trip to China. (St. John's optional version of J-term) It sounds like tons of fun, we will be touring economic facilities, teaching English in Chinese schools, going to historical sites, buying tons of extremely cheap stuff, cheap food, cute asian...

Glad to hear that school is going well for you. smile

Where are you traveling in China? My sister lives and works in Shanghai.

If you're around, let me know about tomorrow or Friday. smile

Man, what a stressful week... I still have to do 2 major reports(due monday and tuesday), and one mini report due this friday. This is not counting regular homework. Sigh.

My brain is so shot its ridiculous. I can't proofread worth a damn at this point, thank god for the writing center. I still have to conduct the research for the model UN report, which...

There was a scheduling mix-up at work, so getting the 19th off shouldn't be a problem for me.

I was thinking movie at Southdale (do you know where that is, or at least have an idea?), they have the nice stadium seating on most of the screens and all since that theater's fairly new. Cheaper than the Mall of America theater, too.

I don't know if you'd want to eat there though, since the fast food places all charge more since it's a mall, and then they've got a few nicer places in there...there's a Ruby Tuesdays in there, though, so that might work.

Just throwing out ideas. smile

I'll assume you know where Nicollet Mall/Nicollet Ave is. You can take Nicollet Ave south through Minneapolis to 66th Street, then take a right and follow 66th Street to York Ave and it's on the left.

If not, you can take 35W south to the 66th Street exit, take a right, and follow 66th to York.

Well its been a long while since I updated, mainly stemming from my large amounts of homework combined with a new addiction to World of Warcraft.

I have two 5-7 page reports to do this weekend, and two more 5-7 page reports to do next weekend.

Not to mention that I have an International Relations midterm that is on Tuesday.

God help me. (Oh wait,...

I found you through a hookup search. And then I noticed the "Its not like this is going to work anyway." and I was thought, wow, that's so me. So I said hi, or something to that effect. smile

I'm shy as heck, though I've gotten a little better. It's easier online, because I can look like an insane fool and not care so much.

My classes are small, too - one of the benefits of not going to the U of MN, I guess. But I somehow managed to perfect the art of half-napping while hiding it in high school, so if we're not taking notes I'm not quite awake.

Well I drank for the first time since the last 'incident,' and thankfully, nothing happened.

The party was fun

well thank god this weekend was not as boring as last weekend.

To sum it up as shortly as... well...

I went snow skating for a long time today. It was great to get outside and enjoy the freezing cold.

Afterwards, we dug my car out from under a mountain of snow, got stuck trying to get out of the parking lot, and it took...

Well only five days before school starts again, and it wont be a day too soon. There is absolutely nothing to do in this town. Nothing. I think I might go up early and buy my textbooks so I will be able to start reading them now. At least then I will have some reading to do.

Man there were some hot sets lately.
siara:
i wish I had nothing to do.. !! been so busy lately.. as usual.. working on designing my next range of clothing!.. have fun at school! and happy new year to you!! i hope you have a most excellent 2005!!

Whee, its Christmas.... But since we are all atheists, we don't celebrate it, but we do exchange gifts anyhow. (And we open them on winter solstice)

I got some sweet stuff, a few books that I am tearing through since there is little else to do here in my crappy hometown. I really know next to no one here anymore, and the ones I know...

I'll be updating my journal soon to let you know how my life is going.

I wish that I had time to read The Mole People. One of my profs for next semester has already e-mailed an assignment for the first day of class. You know, the first day, when you get a syllabus, maybe have a few ice-breakers and go home? Yikes! eeek

I'm really looking forward to the next Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It will be out in mid-July and people are already pre-ordering.

My first college roommate had a biological odor problem. He would shower, but he still stank. The best thing to do is to clean your room regularly and use air fresheners, like plug in ones and Lysol. You literally could smell him all the way down the hall.

My hometown is pretty small and boring, too. Luckily, though, it is close to Chicago! wink

My journal is updated for your perusal. wink

Happy New Year! biggrin

Finals are done, papers are done.

I got two of the three papers back, 1 A+, 1 A.

Finals were agonizing, but I don't think I did poorly.
siara:
Yah!!! congratulations!! that is excellent.. when do you find out about the third one?? sounds like you will defiently have something to celebrate over christmas!!
thanks for the bday wishes btw! biggrin

Argh, I know I haven't been updating, but things are so terribly busy with only a week and a half left in the semester.

1.5 (of 3) reports are done, and I feel as though I will never get them done in time.

The one that is half done is due monday, but I think I can get an extension to wednesday. Assuming it amounts...

Is Siara's name gray on your friends list?

Grey = Siara should renew her SG membership, but hasn't yet.

Good luck with your school work. I'm sure that you'll do just fine. smile
