Time is rolling down here in Japan. I have six of the nine reports I need to do completed. Unfortunately I still have one 10 page paper left, one ass kissing thanks for the 800 dollars a month and free plane tickets, and one last 5 pager on some topic that I haven't really had the heart to look at yet.
Oh, and I just figured out I have to give a 5 minute speech at our graduation party. Didn't seem too bad did it? Oh, wait, did I forget to mention that it is wholly in Japanese? In front of the president of the school, our teachers, other school officials, Japanese students, and god knows who else? Whoops. Well, this is going to be exceedingly difficult.
Have to also study for a final for next week. And enjoy my last few days in japan... Well, that will take a back seat I suppose. Maybe I'll venture out and get a bottle of Stolichnaya to drown those sorrows over the weekend, or maybe that would just make the pressure harder. Yep.
Browsed through some My space dealies of my good friends from high school. Nostalgiac. I'm so out of touch with them now. Save for of course my best friends.
I haven't been blogging that much lately. I guess writing about stuff here in Japan isn't all that exciting. Well, in contrast to when I was in China I wrote in my journal everyday. Maybe I just need a change of space.
This girl continues to chase me when I have no interest in her, and already have a girlfriend. This is the first time that this has happened to me, (Girl chasing after me and I have absolutely no interest in her) so I'm not really sure as to what to do to let her down from... wherever she is gently. I don't want to just be an asshole. I didn't realize she was trying to pursue me in the beginning, I get asked to go for coffee with students here frequently, however the coffee with this girl unfortunately turned into something of a date. She made me a card with her address, phone number, etc, and insisted I give her my address. I consented and gave her my parents home address, hoping she forgets about it completely. Really really uncomfortable.
So, yeah. She keeps on coming over to our dorm, uninvited. I try to avoid her. She saw me today while waiting in the library, and brought over a CD of a Japanese jazz musician since I told her I love Jazz. I really really felt uncomfortable there. I was just sort of.... uh... thanks...
There was a note inside in Japanese and english about how the guy is famous, how much she likes jazz too, etc etc.
Ugh. This does not make me comfortable.
What else is new? I'm ready to go back to America. To be honest, I'm not digging Japan. I don't care to come back, in all honesty. Its a long and complicated story, you might understand if you decide to work here/go to school here or whatever, hell you might love it.
