Things are going quite well. CT's been gorgeous, and only now is it starting to get cold. My step-dad outfitted my SUV with all-weather tires (since she's only known hot climates) and had it checked to make sure it was ready for the winter. My mom LOVES my cat, so she's been able to stay here with me without any problems. I think it's also good that she's here for the times I'm away with my boyfriend. Kiki has mom, and mom has her grand-kitty. It's ridiculously cute to see them, especially since my mother's never owned a cat. She's just amazed by her adorable-ness.
Landed some part time jobs this week. Depending on how much I make with these I may try to add another, but for right now any income is better than no income. Plus, if I get more hours at these then it'll be a moot point. I got the bulk of my student loans into forbearance til May, so that's helping a great deal. My boyfriend's more than willing to help me with my bills but I really hate to take anything from anyone, so I'm hoping that soon I won't need his financial help anymore. He's got a full load with school, and by working he's sacrificing his film time for me (he wants to be a film director). He says it's worth it but I want him to do what he enjoys...
Anyway, I'll leave you with a picture he took a few weeks ago when we were out meandering on our 4 month-iversary. I'd say it adequately summarizes my life right now (in no small part due to him).
God I love it here.
Namaste.
