PLEASE READ. I HOPE I CHANGE YOUR MIND.
I have reached a new level of power
I can now become so hurt and angry I'm calm. Like when you drink yourself sober?
I'm just blogging to share that no matter how upset or hurt a person makes you feel with the nasty things they write or say,
IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE HATED THAN BE THE HATER.
Your words have an indescribable effect on people and I'm sure if you thought for a second that you hurt someone that much with your opinion you'd instantly retract your cruel statement.
You never know how close to the edge somebody is, and your words could be the straw that broke the camels back. Bite your tongue. You may think that your actions are justified. Can you really justify making someone feel that bad about themselves? For things they cannot change?
I'm not saying for a second that my hands are clean, I've just realised since I've started working with peoples Health and Social care how much these things can hurt a person on different scales.
They say that the negative things you say about a person defines you not them. It's true. I used to throw the word "fat" around like there was no tomorrow because I have such a daily battle with food.
I'm trying to correct my behaviour and be more empathetic, I really honestly am. I see everyday children that have been bullied to the point they hurt themselves and people around them. I run cancer clinics so I know that actually there is a lot more going on that if you think I am too skinny or not. I contribute to people getting better and there is no way I'd ever undo that hard work by tearing down someone else on "twitter".
I really hope that anyone that reads this thinks twice about calling somebody a name. Especially non-specific names.
Slut.
Slag.
Fugly.
Disgusting.
Whatever.
I like to think there is a special place in hell for people that have no remorse.
