I'm writing this while I should be breaking down a scene for my short. It's a hard scene, and full of (ugh) prose paragraphs that will describe the action.
This whole short was a great idea when I said it, and discussed it with my producing partner at the bar, half crocked on shitty tap beer, but somehow when it comes down to breaking it into descriptive paragraphs and dialogue, it's just kicking my ass. I'm halfway through the first draft, and two days past the self imposed deadline we set.
J. Michael Straczynski was right. Writer's block isn't staring at the page, wishing you knew what to do, writer's block is watching TV and eating doritos.
Damnit, they stopped making the Jumpin' Jack flavor! Guess I gotta break this damn scene now.

Goodluck with the scene!
