I've seen a few of these "get to know me" questionnaires on the site, and in quite a few of them I see cosplay come up as something that hopefuls and SGs enjoy to do, or would like to do.
What I don't see a lot of however is cosplays that get SOTD, and I am not sure why.
Cosplay sets can demand a hell of a lot of time and resources. You've got to find a location that makes sense for the character you are playing. Then there is clothing, equipment, gear that allows the members to identify with the cosplay, and this gets harder should you opt-in for a gender-swap. If you and another model both cosplay the same character and your sets, unfortunately, come out within weeks of each other, then that's an issue. You and the other SG/hopefull are now potentially going to get compared as to who did it better, or worse, one of you is going to get called out for trying to steal the ideas of another model.
I am not saying that we members need to upvote every cosplay we see, but what I am saying is that we should take the time to appreciate the work.
Here are a few Cosplays that have brightened up my day, and I hope they might brighten up yours.

An Ash Williams cosplay. It does not get more epic than this class act from @Chroi.
Lady of Light:

@Gnomi's Galadriel is stunning, the setting, the costume, the jewelry, she nails it.

@Nayru's take on Dante from Devil may Cry is incredible; this set wins hearts and minds. beautifully put together.
