My first REAL Rugby Match
So I got to play for a full half (45 min) as a Blindside Flanker. An appropriate term since I play without my glasses and am legally blind 2 times over. It was totally fun, but I realize the team we were playing didn't really hit hard, so I didn't get roughed up. One asshole totally elbowed me in the throat, but he got ejected from the game before I could bring the hurt on him. Everyone said I did good and had some good long runs, although I don't remember them, just my mistakes and the tackles I made. I hope someone got some photos, I am waiting for them to go up at http://www.quakerugby.org.
Our next match is in Eugene, OR. They are a way tougher team I guess, but I am still ready to bring the pain again!

Rugby sounds like fun. Never tried it, but I played soccer for about 3 years. Glad you had fun!
