Met my first passive-aggressive patient as a private practice physician. It's actually quite surprising given that I've been practicing for a year now. I figured I'd see a patient like this sooner or later. But she/he took the cake. Didn't have the decency to even say the vitriolic things to my face in the office during our first visit. She/he had to write a 4 page manifesto and fax it to our office manager the next day. I don't mind criticism. Everyone has their own opinion of my practice style. But to flat out lie about me in a letter and expect my office manager to take you seriously is laughable.
But I'm so tired these days from being in the office 12 hours a day, that I can't even muster the energy to fight back. All I can say is "Whatever."
