I'm due for my third deployment to Antarctica tomorrow and this time I'm working down there for a year. I'm a little sad that I won't have access to the SG community, but the prospect of experiencing a full year on Ice is exciting. An Antarctic winter is apparently something to behold. It will be strange to live for four months in darkness, but life is all about the experiences we choose. I hope the SG community around the world stays safe and healthy and fully COVID-free. I can access my Instagram through a little computer manipulation, so I may see some of you there.
