Hey!
So I get the keys to the house tomorrow
I'm going to get some people in to look at the wood floors Friday about re-finishing, then off to Albequerque for a wedding. I'd like to get the floors re-finished before I move in...seems easier that way.
I look forward to some good New Mexican food smothered in green chile sauce
P.S., my mood is better this week

i was in el cerrito 98-02, right near the bart tracks, about a mile from the mallard. did you ever have a drink there? (my girl robin made meanest mudslide this side of the pacos. mmmm mudslides) i liked the bay area, but don't ever really miss it & i've been here for 3 years. but i have had the luxury of traveling for work. we'll see if i go crazy now that that job has ended...do you miss cali?
no, i'm not really into baseball or any sports really. i like going to live games & i'll watch 1 on tv if someone has it on, but i can't classify myself as a true fan. i used to love going to cubs games cuz the fans are so hilarious. don't tell the rest of the s. siders...
a 94 escort? how very sensible

i am all too familiar with germany & how annoying the germans can be with all the world domination. ha! my "brother" that i have known since 4th grade is german & i am also great friends with his mother. we often joke that his mom was deported by the neat & tidy police, since she is not. (1 time the house was ransacked by thieves & my bro asked "mom, have you been cleanning up again?") actually she & i have talked about taking a trip to germany forever & now that i am footloose & fancy free we may make it a reality next spring. i will of course, need to dust off my german, but i used to be conversational so hopefully i haven't lost it completely. of course, they all speak perfect english & will be correcting my grammar non-stop, but hey, that's part of their charm, right?
have a great time @ the wedding getting smothered in green chile sauce
