History was made this week!
And we all get a little hope that the US can recover from 8 years of George Bush and Dick Cheney.
I was going to title this post-election blog "People Who Can Suck It," but John McCain made such a nice speech that I'll skip that part. (ok, can I just do one? Here goes: That dumb Alaskan broad Sarah Palin can suck it!! Seriously, she can suck it fuckin' moose dick-style. That felt good.)
Questions were answered tonight. The country wants change. A young African-American child can grow up to be President. And, yes, I would totally tap Joe Biden's wife. His 90 year old mother...not so much.
As you probably know, I skew a little Democrat as far as policies go. After George Bush, I would have voted for a tree stump if it were on the Democratic ticket. But I like Barack. I wasn't too crazy about John Kerry. I think he would have done better and more for this country than Bush, but he didn't have that Clinton/Kennedy factor. (and I'm not talking about having sex in the oval office.) I remember right after 9/11 when George Bush addressed the country. I remember thinking during that speech, "I wish Bill Clinton were still President. Cause whether or not he was full of shit, I know I would feel better after listening to him." I didn't feel better after listening to Bush. Sometimes when you go to bed at night, you need a little hope to tuck you in.
I'll admit, I teared up a bit during Barack's speech tonight. I actually have faith that he can do the job he just earned. I feel a little better about our country tonight. And now I don't have to move to Canada. Although I would still like to one day...it seems like a nice place.
And, on not such a small note, the Democrats secured a nice little majority in congress in the elections tonight. I'm digging that. It will make Barrack's job a little easier. I'm actually excited to see what our new president will accomplish. I'm pulling for him, and us.
P.S.-Sarah Palin can suck donkey cock, cause that was your ass, bitch!
PPS-I would have voted for HIllary. Cause she's smart.
